I have blunt weapons and a couple swords that are easier to get to. These days it’s better to disable someone breaking in than to shoot them.
I don’t worry about it, though. Everyone knows we have a large German Shepherd. He’s a big deterrent to theft. Our old neighbor was a drug addict and all his friends would come over and saw our dog. They were terrified of him.

I should add though, that this doesn’t apply to every schizophrenic, I’m sure several of us are responsible enough for it not to be an issue.

Do the cops really need guns? I mean UK’s police don’t have guns… they seem to have less cop issues than us as well.

I own a .50 cal muzzleloader pistol kit that remains unfinished. My dad owns a 9mm but he keeps it in a lockbox.
My answer to that would be no. I was going to elaborate but my ramblings were very trigger happy (pun not intended but appreciated). Sometimes I can get carried away in my train of thought and descriptions to where it can become like me describing one of my hallucinations. I removed that because I don’t want to trigger anyone. 
Only a soft airgun i bought from a car boot sale years ago. I used to be a bugger and put holes in the street lamps it from my old attic flat.
Not seen it for years. Wouldnt have one now - too easy to get in trouble with the law.

I don’t want to own a gun and even if I did want a gun, the law prohibits me from owning any firearm.
