Holy ■■■■ I just tried to do ONE push up and can’t! When the hell did that happen? I was expecting to bang out the 30. Geez. I’m in trouble.
Really it stops at 30? I can do that and I don’t do press-ups. I was doing 55 last year and that was without even trying hard.
If we are talking about proper push ups… Maybe one!
@anon98459728 is the fittest of sz’s
They say Charles bronson (prisoner) could do 50 with 2 guys on his back
I think it is from swimming, it is good for endurance.
What exercise do you regularly do now
Swimming in the winter and day hikes in the summer. I want to hike a national trail through Oxfordshire in the Summer but I have never done anything like that and I am a bit nervous about it.
I do sets of about 30 usually.
In the past I’ve done somewhere beteeen 150-200 in a row. When I was working out a lot off meds.
I do 2 x 50 press ups a day.
It took me a few weeks to build it up slowly.
I read an article about it the other day which showed press ups a great indicator of heart health.
If you can do less than 10 then it is not good, but if you can do more than 40 in one go then the signs are good.
There is no zero!!
I’ve got a bad left arm, don’t think I could do more than five pushups right now.
Don’t know haven’t tried.
I cant do any, but I’m working on it. When I first started I had to do wall pushups now I can do them on my knees.
How about none? I’ve never been able to do even one my whole life. Why wasn’t there an option to choose none?
I’ve only ever been able to do about 10 in the past, and that’s pushing it. I don’t have very much upper body strength.
Yeah why no option for zero?
With my shoulder, none.
We used to do pull ups in the Marines. The Army does push ups. Twenty pull ups was a perfect score for men. It’s different for women. When I was in women did a flexed arm hang instead but now they do pull ups too.
I can probably bang out 50 push ups but haven’t tried it lately.
