How many psychoses you had?

2½ two full blown, third time I went to the hospital where they drugged me up before it became serious.

My first psychosis was in public, and rumors was spread about me because of that. It’s really rough having people talking and laughing about me.

I had a psychosis in 2010 due to work stress. Then in 2020 because of antidepressants.

Ive had like like 4 bad episodes. 1st one was like 8 months long. And ive had psychosis symptoms on off from 2011-2021. After my last one in 2021 ive been pretty stable since then.

So you also had a very long one… sorry to hear, the longer it is the more terrifying it becomes.:confounded:
Mine started at 2016 summer (the really strange sensations, some hallucinations) became terrible at 2016 winter and 2017 spring, when I went to first hospital.
And it continued untill 2018 spring. The worst period was for almost a year.
Really stability appeared only on 2018 autumn.
:fallen_leaf:
I hate the fact how long it was.
But the worst period was after the horrible big dosage of meth. If not that meth, I probably would be psychotic but not so extremely psychotic during those times

One long episode since 2018 that varies in severity.

I was Hospitalized when I tried to sleep and started hallucinating and freaking out, I got out of bed and went to my father and was just saying a bunch of weird things to my father.

My parents called an ambulance and they took me to the hospitals emergency. I was walking out of my room and telling everyone I saw “just slow down”. I was talking about the power of telepathy.

The doctor went to get me back in my room and I kept asking for a hug.

They eventually strapped me down and injected me with Haldol.

I stayed in the hospital for a month and was released on 24mg Perhenazine with diagnoses of thought disorder. I kept changing doses and medications as I did not want to feel so sedated and stiff as I wanted to be an athlete.

I was hospitalized a year later again acting very animated and psychotic and laughing to the voices in my head. I was release again after being put on another antipsychotic and diagnosed with SZ.

About six months later I was hospitalized because I had constant suicidal thoughts and feelings. I was released with Antidepressant and back on 24mg Perphenazine and Benzo Ativan for anxiety. Diagnosed Depression, Anxiety and SZ

I stabilized and went on a low maintenance dose of only 8mg Perphenazine and full strength antidepressant no more Benzodiazepines from then on.

I stabilized for over ten years straight and was wanting to maybe marry and return to working and went from being a high school dropout to getting my bachelors degree and was living my dream of racing Bicycles as I was in perfect weather year round.

About 12 years into my stability and motivation a man at the Bicycle track asked me if I was single and he had a daughter. I asked is she looking for someone to date or something and he said immediately that he wanted grandchildren as he had none that he knew of. This sent me into a relapse and to keep me out of the hospital my antipsychotic dose was tripled.

I did not end up in the hospital but said things to my mom that she will never forget as I went into a psychotic state again for about a year.

Then I struggled with no motivation and rebellion.

Abilify was added about 4 years later and I started back on my path to take on life again. I also continue full strengths dose of 24mg Antipsychotic Perphenazine.

I dont really keep track of when things happened in my life. But I’d say ive probably had about 7 or so psychotic episodes that lasted for at least a couple months each. The longest was like 6 or 7 months i think. Most of which was in the ward. Ive now been pretty stable and positive symptom free for maybe 2 years. Hope to never lose it again. But its always a possibility.
