come from a farming family started driving a age 8 got my permit at 14 drove to the end of Mexico after high school I drove to Alaska. and 5 providence Canada . gave it up for 2 years do to schizophrenia, had a kid and I had to drive daily still driving today don’t like it much but it beets the hell out of walking. that and normals count on me for ride to work from time to time.
Recently I’ve gotten a lot more comfortable riding a bike and feeling coordinated… even at high speeds and when faced with difficult curvatures in my path…
But I used to do delivery… “Freaky Fast” as they say… There was only one guy that was faster… consistently taking 5 to 10 more deliveries than me during the same shift… but 60 deliveries in 12 hours… that’s an average of one every 12 minutes… not counting all the time spent in the store… Did that for a couple years and never got in an accident… Though the delivery range was only 2-3 miles in any given direction of the store…
I don’t miss that crap beyond making money… so many phone calls and drunk people… having to get in work attire and be clean shaven…
Anyways… I broke my car trying to do some amateur maintenance… so for now I’m off the road unless you see me peddling… and I’m enjoying the exercise.

I am 19 and have contemplated getting my liscence for years. I don’t know if it is fear or lack of motivation, but I am confident with my driving abilities.
I used to be able drive on motorway but for years now I only drive locally as if I get in busy traffic I get really anxious
