How many of you are off meds?

No I was on Latuda and even before the Wellbutrin I had paranoia, catatonia/freezing, etc I was only on Wellbutrin for 1 month.

I never took Wellbutrin with Abilify.

You don’t have paranoia on low dose abilify do you, you have been stable for quite sometime I think it’s a good time to start lowering your dosage to lowest effective dose

I vomit up my meds at least a few times a week. I’m definitely feeling the effects.

but you wont say what medication you are on mmmmmm.intersting

10-15mg cant remember but that was before stopping my meds for 2yrs and relapsing. Anyways now Abilify is a no no for me due to addictions it caused, I asked my pdr if there is a med to stop these addictions but he said no the only way is to stop the Abilify do he stopped it. Addictions took a year to develop and slowly became more severe.

Now I get positive symptoms if I go down from 4mg to 3mg Risperdal. Honestly I think the reason of being stable on low dose Abilify is that it improves negative symptoms. I think positive and negative symptoms affect each other.

When did you try lowering risperidone to 3mg?was it soon after your psychosis

I switched from 80mg Latuda to 3mg Risperdal then upped the Risperdal to 4mg.

Did you give latuda and risperidone each two weeks to see its effect at least?

It should be a gradual improvement not instant one though

Dr tapered down Latuda until 0mg and slowly increased Risperdal to 3mg at the same time. I was on 3mg Risperdal for a few months then upped it to 4mg.

Every time I’m off meds I relapse. I wish I was 100x stronger mentally and physically. I often think of my past lives where I was off meds and just carried on through and was either homeless or recovered enough to be a huge success. Not sure if that was just wishful, fantastical thinking or just not real. I definitely had past lives in the multiverse but don’t want to risk homelessness again or ruining my family unit again. I love my family and they love me. We need to stick together.

I was weird back then like in my original lives. That’s why I think there’s something superfishy on how I got schizophrenia. Sort of like a thriller movie or something. Maybe aliens, God, or just an eternal curse.

Oh ok but since you have been on risperidone 4 mg for almost a year, it’s part of my hospital procedure to start lowering the dosage for patients to the lowest effective dose, perhaps your doctor might want to try it as well, if the paranoia starts coming back then go onto a higher dose

The only explanation I could think of why low dose does not work for you is because of dopamine super sensitivity since you were on an ap for 4 years

I asked my pdr but he said no as I already had some positive symptoms on 3mg Risperdal so he won’t try again. Now I don’t have a psychiatrist, its my family Dr who renews my prescription, I dont think he can change it though.

Did you always have those thoughts before you relapsed multiple times or did those thoughts started appearing after your multiple relapses

Maybe improving negative symptoms improve positive symptoms? Idk maybe

Possible to get your old records and show it to a new psychiatrist?

Yea its possible but I cant be on Abilify/Rexulti anyways and Vraylar isn’t available here. Im only changing meds to a partial dopamine agonist other than Abilify/Rexulti.

After I guess. I think they’re real though.

Try asking for a more potent antipsychotic according to the Lancet study since you are on latuda and vraylar I think abilify is more potent? Check the Lancet study to find out

Also maybe bcz I stopped meds for 2yrs that I needed a higher dose after? Maybe it does brain damage and worsen psychosis being off meds for 2yrs?
