I speak to my mum on the phone for about s 20 minutes a day. This is the only human contact I get.

I don’t keep count but I’d suspect maybe only a few minutes or less when it comes to conversations daily. I’m quite a shy person so it makes sense I don’t converse with people much.

I see my stepdaughter or granddaughters about 4 x a week for about 180 minutes in total so about 25-26 minutes a day average when there’s a chance of face to face conversation. Then there’s a minute or two average on the phone.
That may not seem much but at my last address I had about 6-7 minutes average a week conversation face to face and on the phone.

I have a couple of guitarist friends I chat with about equipment and stuff occasionally. Sometimes for a while. But both of them work a lot. I talk to my brother and sister for a few minutes once in a while too. Short calls to my girlfriend and her daughter every so often. That’s about it. I call my mom every once in a while to ask how she is, but if I do it too much she gets annoyed and tells me to leave her alone lol.

I couldn’t count but i do talk to as many people as i can,
yesterday it was lots like i must have spoken to at least 10 different people and then another 5 at night,
today it was just my mum but i was with her all day and we didn’t talk much, i spoke to my friend for about 10mins as well on the phone.

I talk to my elderly father on a daily basis.
I talk to my brother once in a while.
I also talk to my Case Manager, therapist and psychiatrist.

I would say a total of 2 hours a day. That would be like a 5 minute conversation every hour with my husband and maybe a 30 min conversation thrown in there somewhere. Then maybe a 15 to 20 minute conversation with my son. Then there’s the neighbors, so that’s another 30 minutes at least. Oh wait then you have to add my sister in so double that. My sister loves to talk, but lately we’ve been chatting online because I can take my time in replying and I can focus on other things while carrying on that conversation with her (she’s alone and I think she just likes knowing I’m there). Wow, I just realized how communicative I am. That’s good. Thanks Son for asking this question.

If I’m working pretty much none, some days I skype, but not often.
