Yeh about a month or 2 I noticed a difference.

It started working on me when I was in the hospital after about 2 weeks. It didn’t fully kick in until later though

The only thing I noticed is my thought broadcasting was gone. Risperidone gave me panic attacks and breathing problems though, and I gained a lot of unhealthy weight.

Everyone is different so you may not get these side effects

I still got mind reading on risperidone though. Abilify is the only antipsychotic that really helped me though, but I hate Abilify, if you know what I mean.

But I have friends on risperidone that do really well on it, so it’s different for everyone

It took me probably about 3-4 weeks for a lot of my symptoms to stop. I take 4mg. They started me off on 1mg and that wasn’t very helpful for me.

why do u hate abilify? i dun get it, so are u on abilify now?

I’m on Abilify now and it helps in low doses for me. But I’m bored a lot of the time and Abilify makes me smoke too much weed, but the weed helps. I just can’t afford to keep buying weed. I wish they made weed legal for us to grow, then I’d be okay with Abilify.

I’m on risperidone injection but I hate the side effects so I take a little Abilify to counteract the side effects, which works wonders. It’s just the boredom I get from Abilify that only marijuana can help.

i think it is no good for us to smoke weed …being bored is not an excuse …

I noticed lm much more emotionally flat. I have barely any motivation. I also don’t hear or see voices or things. The risperdol takes care of the hallucinations pretty well

no , i did not stop my medication, i considered myself never on APs but maybe on antidepressants but it waa quite a long time ago as well

because i am very psychotic . no i did not hear voice
