1mg is too low, I take 4mg. Others here take 6mg.

the risperidone is just not working /doing anything(1mg), i can feel no differnece at all , i am going to switch to abilify (1mg) soon by my second pdoc

You mean 10mg? 1mg Risperdal is too low, I am on 4mg, it can go up to 8mg.

are u Australian,cause we pretty much stuffed on that one.nothing is allowed in this country.even tobacco is expensive.

Isn’t @Om_Sadasiva on 16mg of Risperidone? But he is/was on 90mg of Haldol i remember

risperidone helps me. it helps my mania given i’m schizoaffective, and it helps psychosis. i tried weaning myself down to 1mg from 3, but i started becoming delusional almost to the point of hospitalization and eventually felt terrible. i tried 2 but i was having delusions of reference from the TV, and was staying up with mania. 3 is my happy spot. i’m twenty pounds overweight, from where i was in my twenties.

if you are referring to me, i’ve been on it for just a few years, and latuda was a few years before that. although i was on risperidone briefly like eight years ago too. that was back when i was going on and off meds. eventually i determined i needed to be medicated.

I’m on Risperdal, it’s a good drug.
Keeps me out of the hospital.

Respiridone gave me restless leg syndrome while I was trying to sleep and it gave me a hard-off.

I ditched that drug quickly and switched to Abilify. No regrets.

Did not work for me. Made voices louder, tried invega too it made louder as well, I am on perphinizene old meds, just cut dose in half, still have high pitch ringing and occasionally voices at night, just noticed cold meds make me hear the voices too
