Those resume templates in Office Word are only suitable in U.S. In Malaysia, HR managers want to see my personal particular such as marital status, date of birth, race, religion, and even height and weight.
I always update my resume so I don’t have to overhaul the whole thing.
One tip I’d give you is this. Interviewers see your resume as a slight exaggeration of what you do and what skills you have. Most people lie on their resumes or at least embellish the truth a bit. So what I learned is that if you are more truthful and say things like I am Intermediate at something an interviewer will see that as not really being good at all on that subject/task.
You don’t have to say you are the best at something, but if there are skills that you are less proficient at say you still are good at them and have knowledge on them. The ones you are more confident about boost up even more.
I’ve been thinking of starting a new resume, without all the waitress work. I have a portfolio and a resume right now. The resume only has the waitressing and store manager jobs I had. It’s not appropriate for the kind of work I will be doing in the future.
I updated my resume during school to reflect my new career path. Then last week I spent quite a few hours on it again now that I’ve graduated, am licensed and have some certificates. I ended up cutting out all the short term retail jobs I had as a young adult because I wanted to keep it on 1 page.
It will be a fresh graduates resume, without experience, but you may have section for curricular activities.
Please keep the certificate as I believe it will be difficult to request for replacement copy many years later.
Yes, I have heard advice to keep it one page, but maximum 2, not more than 3 pages.

you havent put what you have done in work, yes you have put technical support, but what did you do.
for example: user and desktop support

Ensuring a smooth delivery of IT Services
Monitoring, observing and coordinating others in the operation of computer hardware
Utilizes computer equipment, software, and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of customer asssistance
Production job processing, equipment maintenance and repair
Updating the supervisor with status of projects or technical issues
Excercising judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures correctly
Determine when to refer problems to the supervisor or next level of support
Providing information to students, staff, faculty or general public on established policies and procedures or services provided.
Thats what you need under the heading Technical support. do not put your age on a resume.

It is helpful but I need to remove the “make travel arrangement” and “take minutes”, and add despatch and accounting duties.
What do you say: Open cheque(check), Issue cheque(check), or prepare cheque(check) --which one is correct?
I helped doing the payroll and invoicing too. Using banknote counter and cheque writer.
i did accounting too, so i would say prepare checque, i dont know if you made payments like i did so if you did then issue cheque as well
