What patterns do your relapses have? How long in between episodes?

For me there’s no gradual thing it’s all just very sudden. One day I’m fine the next day I go on the bus and boom im in a different world.
I think it might be from a build up of stressful stuff. I’ve noticed that pattern.
Ofcourse having done drugs n alcohol didn’t help probably
I spent 8 months in the hospital in 1981. I got out and moved into a group home and within a year they called me stable and I got a job. Things happened I moved around. In 1988, I started to relapse. Drugs might have played a part. I had a series of hospitalizations, none lasting more than four days though. Oh man, I was so miserable and I was a damn addict and I was getting kicked out of housing, and losing jobs and wrecking cars, and dodging the police.
Anyways, my relapse was a long, lingering, 5 or 6 months. Eventually, I quit drugs and started slowly recovering. I got a new job and straightened out my life and started college again. But it took me about a year to recover. I think Karma is bull but it seemed that I suffered so much during this relapse that when I finally recovered my life just blossomed and so much good stuff happened.
I think karma is bull but I think Zeus, Hera, and Hermes were instrumental in my recovery. I would sacrifice my sheep Charlotte on the alter to thank them but my nights get lonely and a man has needs.

So far, the longest I’ve gone completely stable was a year and a half. I’ve been stable between this February to July, then started having symptoms again. Sometimes it’s anxiety, sometimes it just happens. I have insight, though, with meds, and lately it’s just been mild symptoms, not a full on episode.
The longest I’ve been stabled is 3-5 months but lately it’s like one week is good then everything goes to sh!t!!!

My relapses are usually 3 months apart.
There’s not much to say, my mental health just declines until I get hospitalized.
