How do you get control of your voices

how do you get control of your vioces

I tell them to eff right off

Ignore them as much as possible
If you keep ignoring them and find other things to distract you they tend to go back to hell

Yep I ignore the bad ones. I find if I engage them it just makes it worse.

If I get upset, the whole situation intensifies and gets louder. Ignoring as much as possible is good advice. My most successful approach to my most powerful voice is to calmly acknowledge what was said so that it won’t repeat over and over, and then distract myself. Eventually it dies down.

I deal with them by ignoring them and continuing to do what I’d been doing. Eventually, they go away.

The bad ones usually just make fun of me if I talk back to them. So I try to listen to the good voices. Like everyone else has said, it is best to ignore the bad ones and continue on with life regardless.

I only have one internal voice. Several people talk to my brain but only one at a time (that I notice). Apparently they are only talking to my subconscious lately because I haven’t heard them. If they choose to interrupt my thoughts suddenly, because they have something to say, it is REALLY hard to ignore. Meds help me control my internal voice.

I try not to fight them. I just let them go, no matter good or bad things to say or do.
