I’m bored doing certain activities……

But just sitting at home? Never bored.

Before I had a kid, I was bored sitting at home… nowadays I can’t get enough of doing nothing lol

Thanks. Ive always been pathologically bored. Even stuff that really interests me at first becomes painfully boring. I really am bored all the time. Videogames give me momentary interest but eventually become painful to play. Before APs I used to run and cycle for hours just out of boredom. After years that got boring itself. Sometimes I hope to just die and not live so many boring years.

I have lots of exciting things to do, but not enough time to do them in. My job can also be exciting, but not in a good way. At least today wasn’t boring. (Ugh.)

I’m not at all bored, ever.

I believe you. It’s very neurosomething that causes it. Some people can be entertained by their own thoughts or looking forward to buying bread tomorrow. I just feel boredom angst alll the time.

That’s very kind I hope that works

Did you ask me that because god is conservative and needs correct pronouns?

No. It’s cause I need to know how to refer to you when I pray without being cumbersome. It’s just for my convenience.

I understand. God is omniscient in most assumptions so would know to whom you are referring.

I struggle with motivation. I have spare time. Maybe I need to push myself harder.

I am hardly ever bored.

Learned to never tell my dad if I was bored growing up because that meant a chore assignment. Eventually I got smart and never admitting I was bored to very few people.

I’ve found that I’ve gotten more bored with the increase of my Wellbutrin. It’s like I can’t get that sad but I also can’t get that happy about the things I once had passion for doing. It’s the price I pay to not be suicidal.

Lately I’ve taken up reading again. That helps with boredom.

I usually do serious reading in the morning, taking advantge of the fresh mind, and then I will be very tired in the afternoons and can only watch TV programs or do nothing except for listening to music. so I feel a little bored in the afternoons.

I’ve lost interest in so many things that I use to love. I miss that.

But I have so much to do throughout the day, caring for my dogs. I have tons of spare time to learn how to keep the home tidy. I watch youtube and how to clean, eat and nutrition and learning to be healthy.

I’m working on self care right now. Why is this so hard. I can’t really explain but i feel I’m not alone in this struggle.

I think working and challenging on my symptoms, keep me busy. I have far to go.
I need to do this for myself and my spouse. I’m in case management and my symptoms are affecting his life too much. He needs me to be in touch and present. Able to go out on my own without him.
