Horrible cravings on day 75...why?

I am on day 75 of not smoking and I want to smoke today worse than yesterday and yesterday I almost buckled and bought a pack. To make matters worse I just burned my thumb really bad cooking with the oven and now I am angry AND jonesing for a cigarette. can someone calm me down?

I can get your mind off of it.

Just imagine a field of gorgeous women. All of them wearing nice fabrics and flowers all around. And oh whats this? An entire keg of ice cold jager meister just for you.

So you take a few drinks, slow and sipping and settle down with your new found friends.

You have such a pleasant conversation with them and you guys laugh alot while you become drunk and happy.

The breeze kisses your face with kindness and warmth.

Did it work?

haha thanks pans…I think it did…haha…no , it didn’t. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

I never smoked that much, but after I quit I did get a few cravings long after the initial cravings stopped. Those ā€œlate in the day cravingsā€ stick with you a while, but they diminish with time. Don’t give in. It will get better.

could you just take a nicotine gum instead of smoking?!!!

No one smokes coz of the nicotine craving. … hell, most smokers probably don’t even like smoking., but sometimes, you need sh1t to do… and holding a cigar / puffing it, counts as something to do :stuck_out_tongue:

Its because of stress, sleep.

It took me a year to be free of cravings when I once quit cold turkey. This is to be expected I think. Cigarettes are very sneaky.

Don’t give into the craving though, it’ll pass.

Do’nt give in to the craving. You’ve come to far to mess it up now. When I quit 10 years ago it was only after month 4 that I felt the craving gave way. Often after that the craving resurfaced but it is a short fleeting moment. Hang in there. You’ll be ok😊

I’m believe what you are experiencing is all normal for quitting cigarettes.

It is just one day at a time for me. I have greater than two years without any nicotine.
