Ok so I haven’t had a cigarette since 7:45 pm and it’s now 2:22a.m. cold turkey too. Is it 4 days and nights cold turkey that you got it beat?
I went a month without a cigarette once and I got really strong cravings a month later some people crave cigarettes their whole lives its different with vaping for me I would only crave vaping for about 3 days then I was basically over it but I’m not going to try and quit anymore I need some form of dopamine reuptake since I have to take these horrible meds and wellebutrin just doesn’t cut it for me
I smoke when Im stressed or bored so I get strong cravings along with both of those.
I would say learn about yourself and your cravings and see what causes them while you quit. Ngl you are pretty likely to relapse at least once but its a learning process. Eventually you know what situations will cause you to smoke and avoid them
A little disclaimer I still smoke a lot lol. I am currently in a very stressful job (for me, but I enjoy it too) so I cant really avoid stressful situations like I used to. But if you can devote enough focus to it and are pretty stable in life you should be able to do it. You got this
Wow in mine case its 2 Day without cigarettes.
Don’t smoke if you have a cough, you’ll get well and still have the cough. Ask yourself do I really like these things? ( I know the answer could be yes.)
It’s usually 3 days to kick any sort of addiction.
best of luck with quitting smoking @JaBrown =)
I hope you manage to do it.
I’m not gonna quit yet =p
I thought it was usually 30 days to overcome an addiction instead of 3 days.
I weaned myself off cigarettes over time. I was very successful that way. Let me know if you want to know how I quit
I just quit with my room mate, buddy system works
I quit Cold Turkey ten years ago. I had withdrawal symptoms for about three weeks then they started easing up. I smoked a pack and a half a day. Now I have no desire to smoke. I quit because I came down with emphysema, and I was highly motivated to quit.
I quit cold turkey 13 years ago. Cravings last a few weeks, but after a month they decline, after that it gets easier. No matter how hard it seems, just focus on the goal and don’t smoke no matter what.
I was a two pack a day smoker for seven years and I quit in one day when it became apparent that the other nursing students I was in school with, mostly girls, didn’t approve of my smoking. So, it was peer pressure that made me quit.
I guess peer pressure can be good or bad. I was never a smoker but sometimes had shisha with my friends as they had it too and as it was a shisha bar.
Three days is physical addiction they say. The psychological addiction hangs around a lot longer.
I got off a serious habit with champix/chantix. Worked a treat and besides feeling a little sick in the mornings I did it easy. Didn’t even finish the course.
It’s worthhwile giving up. It really is and there’s few things you can do for your health as positive for your mind and body.
I smoke 3 packs a day! I’m doomed I tried to quit hundreds of times I’m not gonna make it to 35 I’m 33!
My tip is don’t eat them! Especially the tips.
My real tip is to never start smoking tobacco in the first place.
Dont buy more when your out of them.
Drink water.

I was psychotic when I quit smoking. I had a delusion I was going to hell if I didn’t quit. I thought I was going to turn into a rock.
? I have to call you out on your post.
