Herbal Supplements for SZ

Hi everyone,

I just discovered several herbal supplements that work on schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder. They are Tumeric, Ginger root, Green Tea Extract, Garlic Extract. All have strong anti-inflammatory activity and there is word that SZ is related to inflammation in the brain, all have an effect on my symptoms with no side-effects!

How do you know they work? Were you able to replace your meds with them?

They are not strong enough to replace meds but they do help! I feel alot better and they help reduce any mental distress that I am in.

Contains curcumin, blood thinner. Reacted badly with my prescribed blood thinners (gave them a huuuuuge power up). I needed a transfusion after playing with this supplement. Do NOT use any new supplement without first checking with a doctor or pharmacist to make sure they are safe to use with what you’re already taking.

I find ashwagandha helps me somewhat. It helps with my negatives (I think), but it also helps me feel less depressed and less stressed out. It’s also a potent anti-inflammatory.

I used to take it, I am afraid of it inducing mania. I read that it can like american ginseng.

curry is good too
