My gma but she’s sleeping. I feel like they wanted something. Now I have to walk in the dark to make coffee I’m scared to death

this is very common thing called hypnopompic hallucinations. theyre hallucinations that happen to people when they wake up and theyre usually visual. i get hypnogogic which is the ones that happen when u fall asleep and are usually hearing voices. theyre pretty common tho for people without sz too. i dont even mention mine to my dr because i believe them to be normal and not related to sz. most of my family gets them too

ive only had them very rarely as an adult

i get hypnogogic voices probably 60% of nights now. sometimes it 100% but right now its probably 60%

i dont mind it really. they usually just speak nonsense. i just lay there and try to decifer it til i fall asleep haha

when i was a kid i used to see ghosts in my room when I woke up at night, and they would come at me and disappear

the last one I had as an adult was mickey mouse or super mario can’t remember with a really evil face and sharp teeth

those kind are scary. i rarely get the visuals when i wake up. but one time i saw a giant person with long limbs like the size of the whole room and covering the ceiling over me. it was pretty scary for a few minutes.
