I’m not one to usually worry a lot about my physical health , but recently it’s ramped up several notches . Every little pain has me thinking I’m going to have a heart attack or stroke .
Would it help you to read up on the symptoms of those, to reassure you that’s not what’s happening?
I used to get sharp chest pains and went to a doctor. He discovered I had a muscle or a nerve or something that sometimes got stuck in my rib cage.
@firemonkey you should slow down abit. Go take to your physical doctor about these concerns and issue. This should help you resolve them. Until then slow down your physical activity, and try to remain calm and relax abit.
@Pikasaur @DragonStorm That’s a good idea . At the moment every little pain wherever on the body is making me think blood clot to the brain, stroke and heart attack.
Well these don’t apply .
Symptoms
Common heart attack signs and symptoms include:
Pressure, tightness, pain, or a squeezing or aching sensation in your chest or arms that may spread to your neck, jaw or back Nausea, indigestion, heartburn or abdominal pain Shortness of breath Cold sweat Fatigue Lightheadedness or sudden dizziness
If you have pain. it could be something simple. I have found most chest pain is ussually a pulled muscle, pinched nerve, and even temporarily miss arranged rib bone.
This is going to sound really silly and irrational but this kicked off with bowel problems I was having . I am prone to chronic constipation and may or may not have been faecally impacted . I couldn’t go properly for several weeks but am now going better though every 2-3 days which is my usual pattern.
I started obsessing if I couldn’t go properly I’d die . Irrational leap then to heart attacks and strokes etc.
I hear you. Being anxious about all this can make you feel even worse. When i had my first major flare up, it literally felt like i was having a heart attack. I deep down knew i wasn’t but i was extremely worried and trying to figure out what was doing it to me.
I keep having rib pain from the meds but i still do get a stabbing chest pain for some reason. The stabbing pain is frustrating because i don’t know what is causing it.
