I am currently on my parent’s health insurance, but after 25 years old (at the end of this year), you come off of it. Since my job would pull so much money if I got health insurance, what are some affordable options. I know I’m going to need insurance because I have yet to find a cure to stop the auditory hallucinations. How are you getting the medicine and help/care you need? Besides ssi, what are some affordable options? Thanks!

It depends on how much you make. I looked into several insurance companies but as soon as I entered my income, they directed me to medicaid.
Apparently the aca website, if you make enough money, will start you on the process of insurance subsidies.
Before I found a good pharmacy in my local area, I used rx outreach. They sell many, but not all, meds at a reduced price. It is a mailing service.
I actually found my current psychiatrist and therapist through a local grant. I found out about it by contacting the local health department.

175 a month for basic stuff. It sucks. I have to file a claim every time I use it. They do t tell you until a free you already owe for the service so if they don’t decide to pay then you’re ■■■■■■.
