The property manager bought all the tenants a ready made, already cooked turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. I’m going to store it at my apartment on Monday and then the housing counselor will distribute it on Wednesday to the rest of the tenants. That way I don’t have to have any contact with the troublesome neighbors upstairs.
But I wanted my own turkey so I bought a 12 lb turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and yams and I had corn and made some mashed potatoes from scratch. The turkey is out of the oven cooling and the mashed potatoes and stuffing are ready. Just have to heat up the yams and corn in the microwave and open the can of cranberry sauce so I’m having my own Thanksgiving dinner tonight. The roommate is gone on a trip so I have the apartment to myself. Great! I’m going to enjoy this evening. Listening to R.E.M. on my Echo Dot and have the heater on; everything is perfect.
