Did you notice any sexual side effects (erections and orgasms)? How was your hunger?
I didn’t notice any sexual side effects, but I was pretty much never hungry. It made me feel nauseous every time I ate. I had to switch

I am on abilify and have sexual side effects. But I have also had such side effects on every other antipsychotic I have tried recently . I’m beginning to think it could be the nicotine causing me it. My hunger is a little bit less than seroquel. I have already lost 15 pounds with minimal effort

No sexual side effects. Made me tired in the beginning though.
Abilify worked great for me until it didn’t. I got sloppy with taking it, until I relapsed and got admitted to a psych ward.
Afterwards I kept having to up my dose until I reached a point where I told the pdoc “this obviously isn’t working. There’s no use for you to keep upping the dose. Let’s try something else”

Ability made me very sick. I couldn’t even take it two weeks.

No sexual side effects and it didn’t increase my hunger but I gained 60 pounds on it in the year or so I was on it. All that weight was lost without changing my eating habits when I stopped the Abilify.
my pdoc swore it was weight neutral, but it obviously wasn’t for me. I gained 50 pounds on Geodon too though, and that is supposed to be weight neutral too.
It worked very well for my voices, but I couldn’t justify the weight gain when I hadn’t changed my eating. I’m not sorry I stopped. Everyone’s different, it was obviously not the right drug for ME.

It increased my libido when I was on it in my late teens early twenty’s. Twenty is a weird word. Did I spell it right?
Either way, when I took it in my thirties it didn’t have that side effect.

That’s awesome! Have you been on other medicine that gave you sexual dysfunction? Just to compare it to how it is now

Yeah, I’m on haldol right now and have zero sex drive.
