Have you ever tried treating the voices you hear kindly/talking to them kindly? Like they’re someone you love?

My voices are gone these days but, when I had one who would say violent things, I treated it like a kid throwing a tantrum. Made it easier to disregard what it said. Otherwise, I try to be kind to entities because I’d rather cooexist with whatever it is than be at odds all the time.

Usually Alien is evil so I don’t treat him kindly, I just say shut up or f*** off or go away and leave me alone. Its hard to be kind to him but sometimes on a rare occasion when he makes me laugh I am more gentle.

I tried talking to them nicely before and there was still those very negative voices regardless. I think their only emotion is anger haha For the most part though it was rewarded with kindness back. I make it a point to not talk to my voices too often, that’s how they get more frequent and powerful.
Gotta pretend they aren’t there as hard as that can be.
