I don’t trust the southern poverty law center, or people whom at their core don’t support freedom of speech and seek to protect us from ideas. I think ideas themselves are up for debate, and that our civil duty is to debate and talk to these people. Not cringe in fear that someone else labeled them dangerous or scary.
How did the southern poverty law center handle labeling Antifa as they were masking their faces, shutting down speaking events, and literally macing people in civil protests.
I don’t think they called them terrorists. I think that’s one way to show that they’re biased. That your opinion about a people shouldn’t be informed by another group’s determination about them.
The southern poverty law center is the agency tasked with identifying and studying hate groups. Part of thwir mission is to deradicalize people and bring them back to healthy ways of thinking. I want to be very clear, though. The primary purpose of this site is to protect and support individuals with psychosis, regardless or race, gender, sexual orientation, or anything else. Anyone who acts contrary to this goal will be suspended. I believe everyone deserves a chance to change for the better. But I am not responsible for facilitating that change.

Antifa is specifically against people who believe in fascism, which is not an immutable characteristic. It is something people choose to follow.
I’m not going to have a debate with you on this topic in this forum. Mods have shown that through blocking the comment in question, that they view it is unacceptable content. I view that, as uncooperative to having a an open debate, continuing is futile in my mind.
I’m being as open an honest about my opinions as I can be, and if they’re wrong they’re wrong. I don’t think its your job to correct them. Having a debate could correct them, but I’m not going to participate if my views and thoughts are silenced, and the criticism I receive back isn’t going to be up for review to my own comments.
The forum automatically blocks links to extremist sites, like the one you tried to post. We had to automatically filter out that site because of the number of times people have posted blatantly racist opinion pieces from that site.
I just used a site with a quote from the SPLC that stated “they don’t think they’re a hate group”.
This is the kind of talk that I think gets pedantic. Can black people be racist? Is racism inherent to those whom have institutional power? Then what of africans and white people in africa? Can they be racist because they have power? If Africa isn’t institutionally powerful because of colonialism, what about china? Are the chinese racist now that they’ve seemingly accrued power and now dictate against islamists? Is islam a religion or a political movement, or a race? All these things get dictated by whoever is holding the microphone. I don’t think it really honorable or noble to argue against this authoritarian view on what is a truth. That’s why I’m not going to fight hard to have a conversation if I think its just going to be censored.
I find this sort of thing to be hard to argue honestly about. Incels I think is another topic where people have defined away their ability to be a harmless group of people, because another thing is associated with them. So now by definition they’re something terrible.
This is actually a huge issue in Southern Africa, where Apartheid only ended like thirty years ago. The country is still biased in favor of white people. You can read all about it but I will not do the research for you because that is not thw purpose of this topic, which is how to identify signs of incel idealogy.
