Like shutter island he killed his wife then went crazy I done something bad and went crazy also on gta5 if you kill someone online your mental health deteriorates is this true?
I doubt it, there are people doing far worse things than I have ever done, they carry on with their lives, living the good life, while I suffer. Never hear of them getting into any trouble.
With schizophrenia, one can torture themselves with any little thing that goes wrong, for me it’s daily and everything that’s bad just plays over and over in your head. It’s so tiring and drives you to insanity.
It’s not karma or sin or anything like that. It’s just bad luck.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. – Ecclesiastes 9:11

If you’re becoming worried about the effect violent video games are having on you, then try cutting back on them, or stop playing them altogether.
I do not believe that any of us did anything ‘wrong’ to cause our mental illness. It is a combination of genetics and environment/circumstances. It IS just bad luck.
He was already mentally disturbed when he killed his wife in Shutter Island. Pretty sure he got it from being in the war. Although I haven’t seen that movie in a while.
I’ve actually been feeling pretty angry about this recently as I’ve been having memories coming back from when I was younger 11-15 mainly and I can’t understand why I out of so many people was chosen to go through that… Feel cheated my 11 year old self did not deserve any of that and it makes me upset
wow, when did they add that to GTA? is it like a mental healthbar? back when I played it, years ago, that wasn’t a thing least the game would’ve been quite boring. in the game, police were bad enough. why would they do that?
Like this post if when you played GTA you just caused havoc and didn’t ever do any of the missions and just ran and drove around the city robbing and doing bad stuff to people.
And then now and again you’d get bored of being bad and drive properly with everyone else, get a haircut, do normal things
On Zootycoon, years ago when my son was little, I used to build a zoo full of predators, wait until it became a success and full of people, block the entrance/exit and then release the predators. The animals would attack the people! I thought it was hilarious that the game was programmed for that! Does that make me a bad person?
Oh man I never heard of ZooTycoon but I did play Roller coaster tycoon and when the park got really crowded id speed up the rides and theyd crash and everyone die bahahahaha great minds think alike
I did that too! Good times.
If that were true everyone would have SZ. My sz magnifies everything I do wrong or ever have. It’s been a positive thing for me, I’ve learned to avoid those things that bring on guilt. And lay my failures to rest. That being said I believe guilt can make you mad if you ignore and indulge in things that are repulsive to your morality. y
But for the average sz guilt just makes us a lot more miserable.
No. Leading theories suggest genes, environment, virus’s, brain chemicals or exposure to cat poop. Schizophrenia is not a moral disease. Tramua or stress may trigger it in-someone who had the propensity to get it anyway, but moral failings are not to blame for it though psychological stress due to life incidents like violence, rape, or other serious life stresses can add to the problem as well as street drugs.
I started reading Shutter Island today. I think I saw a part of the movie along time ago.
I hope its a great book.
No…this is part of the stigma…I’ve been avoiding this topic…but no your god doesn’t hate you…and no killing people in GTA 5 shouldn’t have lasting mental damage…most of the NPCs respawn as do other players…so your not actually killing them unless its plot driven then its not really your fault…the writers threw that into the story…but there’s enough stigma placed upon us by others…do we really need to self stigmatize…
Well I could’ve been nicer, but i was a decent person. A healthier me at this age, no doubt in my mind would’ve been a ten times better person. I’m too bitter and slow to do good things.
What I see is like they punish us for the things they did wrong. … they feel better saying look this one - because they hate to look themselves in the mirror.
As Hitler was hating himself for be jewish. … then was killing all them
Where everything started, shame
