Heck I haven’t finished the canon 6 part series. I’m stuck midway through episode 5.

I saw it in 4DX at the cinema.

I loved it! I know it got a lot of flack, but I personally feel that it was undeserved. People were complaining about the fan service, but I don’t understand that because Avengers Endgame was nothing but fan service and people praised it for that. I love fan service though. Some of the writing was bad, but I don’t think any of the movies had perfect writing. Even the great Empire Strikes Back had some cheesy dialogue.

I think a lot of the hate came from people who weren’t going to be pleased regardless of what came out. It seemed to me that a lot of the people in my star wars circle had already made up their minds before The Last Jedi came out and even if it was a masterpiece they would have trashed it.

I’m still salty towards the die hards for bullying Jake Lloyd when he was a kid. Phantom Menace wasn’t even that bad, but people put the original trilogy on a huge pedestal and again, they wouldn’t have liked whatever came out.

With each new star wars movie release the phantom menace looks better and better ! :smile:

I thought it was awesome, the whole series. The Kiss At The End Was Door Blowing and Totally Appropriate.

I’ve seen all the star wars movies. ROTS was visually good, but the plot and characters didn’t move me much.

I would say it was better than The Last Jedi, but still had its flaws. They really tried to redo and retcon The Last Jedi too much I would say. Overall, its worth watching as a Star Wars fan, but its certainly not on the level as the first trilogy.

I would actually say that the tv shows have been better than the movies, especially The Mandalorian.

I saw it at home on demand. I enjoyed it but was thinking it was about Luke and it wasn’t. Won’t spoil the ending.
