That’s one weird movie

I didn’t enjoy it so much on account of all the changes to the character Constantine.
I like Keanu, but he was poorly cast.
The best part was the depiction of the angel, I think Gabriel?
Anyway, being completely androgynous was perfect.
And accurate.
Movies always try to sex up angels,
That one was the best I’ve seen in a movie.

It was one of my favorite movies back in the day. I think the devil’s son needed a “gifted soul” to inhabit and be birthed into the world.

I think that’s the connection between the devil and the twin sisters they were special in that they were kinda spiritually gifted or sensitive. Keanu killed himself to get the devil to collect his soul as a way to get the devils son noticed. The devils son wanted to take over earth.

It was based on the comic.
Constantine has contact with the spiritual world and is able to manipulate it.
The twin sister in hell was a dumb storyline.
In the end Constantine in dying of cancer and Satan saves him because he enjoys messing with him.
I haven’t seen it in years,
Even longer for the comics.
But i think that’s basically it.

The twin sister killed herself or kinda sacrificed herself cause the devil’s son was trying to use her. After she died the devils son used the other equally gifted sister cop. The cop and keanu solved the case kinda thing. Keanu sacrificed his life to save the dead twin from perdition thus earning a spot in heaven or maybe it was noticed that she didn’t belong there. Either way keanus sacrifice was honored. Keanu was going to heaven when the devil healed him to give the devil another chance at his soul.

I think it does too.
At some points in the movie I didn’t feel too great, where I had felt ever so slightly triggered
But overall, it was fine
I didn’t enjoy the depiction of hell. Very horrible

I understood it and loved it. I also have the TV series, which isn’t bad considering how old it is.

Maybe because it was such a hit movie, they decided to turn it into a series too for more money and so on.
I honestly don’t remember much about it, my long term memory is not great. I remember liking it though.

I love that movie!! The various demons and evil situations are right up my alley. Also, the depiction of the demons in hell as having their heads full of sinners was brilliant.

Its an alright film. The part when he fights through a horde of demons with that golden crossbow-gun contraption whilst they get drenched in holy water via the sprinklers was pretty cool.
