I got hooked on antidepressants, they are like narcotics to me, its so hard for me to quit them. Has anyone managed to quit their antidepressamt with success and feel better?

Yes. After 9 months of taking Zoloft 50 mg daily I tapered them off over a period of 2 weeks. I had one very vivid dream, but no other problems.

Antidepressants have zero effect on me. My pdoc is weening me off Lexapro. I’m currently on 5mg in the morning.
My pdoc doesn’t like me because I always have the upper hand of the situation. Thirty five years of dealing with psychiatrists has made me a pro.
Yeah, i was taking prozac for anxiety but after 3 to 6 months it only made things worse for me so i had to quit em but it was hard. The first time i quit too fast and felt like dying, so i went back on and slowly cut them down and that was okay. It took months for me to feel like i’d never been on em in the first place tho.
