Has anyone recovered from tactile hallucinations before?

I’m getting them on my genitals and it’s probably the most annoying thing in the world to me right now. Want it to stop!

Medication helped me. So sorry you are struggling! I had rats biting me. I know it is awful!

I’ve experienced them. But, never for very long. Meds always took care of them.

My tactile hallucinations won’t go away. I see a shadowy figure and it likes messing with my genitals and butt. Unpleasant.

The tactile hallucination is probably going up your pee hole. That is what mine did to me. It had me on the ground in pain for a few minutes.

This one is messing with my nuts.

I had a tactile hallucination where i could feel something under my skin at my temple. I tried to cut it out with a knife because i was worried it was a micro-chip. But since my medication change i haven’t had any further hallucinations.

I feel raindrops on my skin sometimes

What is a tactile hallucination? A feeling like someone’s touching u ?

Yeah, basically.

It’s a hallucnation of the touch sense.

Before I started invega, I could feel raindrops on my skin, my shoulder would sometimes feel like it was on fire, and I often felt like I was wetting myself when I never was.

Invega has pretty much taken away tactiles for me, though I do get breakthrough symptoms now and then.

Has anyone here cured their tactile hallucinations with haldol?

I used to feel ghosts as cold air on my legs. Guess they were all lying down. Saw them once too, that was creepy

@FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter, @SkinnyMe, @DMAdataANDmoodanalysis, @Sezbot241, @Moonwalker and @Anna, please tell me the medication doses you are taking that cured the tactile hallucinations, and whether they ever come back.

Invega 6mg… never came back

I felt the same once when I had smoked weed.
Weed has caused many hallucinations… It’s psychoactive.
