Has anyone recovered from tactile hallucinations before?

@naturallycured
I always thought I was running into things and I would react to it, when it fact I wasn’t. It got to the point that my husband would tell me “you didn’t run into that wall.” Also, I always thought things were touching me. I was so convinced of it, I honestly felt it, but I didn’t know what was touching me. I would ask my husband, “Did that spoon just touch me? Did that counter just touch me?” When we were out in public, I would always say people were running into me because I constantly felt it. It was all on my arms mostly.

Of being touched and sexually sometimes physically abused. Mostly strong ones of sexual abuse.

Emergen-C multi vitamin
Protein Supplement
Creatine supplement
Organic fats: coconut oil, butter, bacon
Iodine
Fish Oil
Coffee
Athletic Activity
Study the mind, human kind, informationology

That’s it.

I can’t express the importance of the last one enough. And the tactile things are rape, molestation, bashing, cutting, poking like with a knife, and lots of things. I had the worst sz you could possibly ever have.

I have them way less one Invega. I feel things crawling on me. I also get the feeling that you get when someone is in your personal space, the push of air…you know what I mean? For me it is like something is right in my face almost touching.

It all went away with Invega and only have breakthrough hallucinations sometimes.

I’ve gotten tactile hallucinations before. They are very unpleasant and strange to the extreme. I don’t have them anymore with my three AP’s.

I had once major tactile hallucination where I could feel entities pressing on my body, lungs filling with water and my own body morphing. I thought it was somekind of demonic attack.
Depakote added to seroquel took care of that psychosis.

I take a combination of antipsychotics - Ziprasidone (Geodon) 80 mg twice daily (160 mg in total) and Clozapine (Clozaril) 200 mg.

My tactile hallucination was that i could feel something under my skin on my right temple. I thought it was a microchip. So i got a knife and tried to cut it out.

I had some tactile hallucinations but it was only rarely and it went away with time.
I’m on aripiprazole BTW.

I get these tactile hallucinations too, especially at night!

I felt:

  1. Bugs crawling on my arm and biting me
  2. Sensation of someone having sex with me
  3. Strong heartbeat in my stomach
  4. Fingers touching my foot
  5. Someone in my mattress underneath me trying to claw/beat their way out
  6. Hearing foreign voice whisper and feeling their breath on the back of my neck
  7. Feeling someone on top of me holding me down in bed
I prayed many months for God to heal me and he took these things away.

Did God take them away

I see shadow people and feel it when they touch me.

No med has helped make it go away.

I saw and felt waves undulating under my skin. It was very scary. I also saw and felt the ground move beneath my feet.

It depends what you mean by recovery I have not had it since 2016.in 2016 I twice had what I can best describe as ghost sex. It was when I was coming out of my sleep just starting to wake up that phase. Has anyone had that. It did feel amazing but it was psychosis so its actually a load of crap.

@Selah I hope it helps you the invega.
Best of wishes with that :crossed_fingers: :crossed_fingers:

I hear and feel what seems to be a device/instrument that prods various parts of my body and can cause my foot/arm/head to jolt while I simultaneously hear the mechanical and technological noises associated with it. That while hearing the voices at the exact time that I feel the tactiles continues to occur night and partly throughout the day. Tactiles for me are most severe at night though.
