Has anyone noticed how easy it is to get into debt in 2019?

It seems like every store I shop at online is offering an incentive to buy on credit. I just signed up for an amazin store card for a free $60 gift card. Chase just signed me up to for a checking account that will get a $300 bonus after the account has been open. For 90 days and has direct deposit from the SS office.

I’m such a sucker for these freebies. I wonder how long until they stop offering me free money because I have too many accounts open.

I’ve noticed. I’m $7000 dollars in debt right now. I have to spend the next year doing nothing but paying it off. I can’t buy anything. I really have to buckle down and get the job done. It’s one of my New Year’s resolutions.

Dude yeah, financial organizations are winning right now killing us with interest made off debt because I dont know about you but I’m often living above my means because I only get paid twice a month and just to survive ■■■■ sucks.

I actually got debt free this year. Then my check engine light came on in my car, and even the new mechanic owner can’t figure out how to fix it. It wouldn’t have passed emissions inspection, so now I’m in debt for a new car.

I’m beginning to believe that being in debt is just a necessity for almost everyone of my financial status currently in the US. I imagine it is just a matter of limiting the debt and trying to make sure it isn’t the wrong kind of debt.

I have never had a credit card before. I don’t think I have ever even been overdrawn. I disagree with getting things on credit.

I don’t live with credit these days. Paid off my last card after defaulting on it and it took me years to pay it off but I did it.

I do notice that everything is more expensive. Stuff like petrol and utilities are forever going up. No rest for the wicked.

I just have HECS (uni debt) which I only have to pay if I earn enough, which I don’t. I applied for a credit card but got denied, blessing in disguise I suppose.
