I don’t think I could ever give up caffeine! That’s a tough feat. You don’t feel like you need it anymore @everhopeful?
It was just making me more anxious. I also had a terrible hangover from it. It would take me hours to feel human when I woke up. But I was addicted to it.
I’d love to be able to have a coffee every now and then but I couldn’t moderate my intake
But now I don’t feel like I need it anymore.
So just a short update. I have set my schedule for no screens at 10:30 pm, in bed by 11:30 pm to go to sleep, and up 8:30 am sharp. So that’s 9 hours of sleep, which I feel is the right number for me.
I’ve managed to do it for 3 days now, I snoozed yesterday but that was the last day. I am fully committed. I put a note on my bathroom mirror to remind me that my day has begun and I’m changing habits that will better my life.
Anyways, just an update. Going from waking up at 2:00 pm to 8:30 am is hard as hell (right now), but possible!
