Has anybody tried Rexulti?

I’m still waiting for it to become available in Europe. Has anyone tried it? Just out of curiosity what did you think of it? Specifically did it cause anxiety?

I know meds affect everyone differently but I’m just curious to hear experiences.

I’m taking it right now. I like it because it doesn’t have any side effects for me. I still get delusional while on it so I think I’m going to try another medicine.

I came across this

If the EMA grants regulatory approval to brexpiprazole, the brand name of the product in the EU would be RXULTI®.

So no “E” in Rexulti for Europe.

Wait… wasn’t Mortimer taking Rexulti?? And he’s from UK
How did he get his hands on it?

What about motivation and negative symptoms ?

He’s from the States.

I don’t have negative symptoms so I don’t know. I feel the same with motivation.

@everhopeful Have you tried Geodon ? Not sure if you have it there?

I love it!!! will weigh myself in 15 days. The Abilify injection might last till 30th of the month so not sure how long it’d take for my metabolism to return to its normal function

I am SO looking forward to get back to my normal self.

I’m happy with abilify except for the anxiety. I’d be afraid to try geodon as there’s issues with heart side effects.

I’m taking it right now and I like it for the most part. It does keep the delusions down, but I still get them from time to time. Works well for the depression

@Wave is right @everhopeful, I have been taking rexulti for almost a year, and have nothing but good things to say about it. I can’t tell if it affects my anxiety, as my anxiety is super high so I’m already on 30mg buspar and 1mg ativan daily. But I don’t have any noticeable side effects, my positive symptoms are taken care of for the most part, and it doesn’t sap me of energy and motivation the way other meds have. I would recommend trying it. Only downside for me is cost. My insurance only partially covers it, and it’s too expensive still. So I rely on samples.

US here. It helps the hallucinations some. Almost everything else doesn’t help at all.
