Has anybody been to Thailand?

I’ve cancelled my plans on visiting Sri Lanka in January, the ecomocial problems make it problematic to visit at the moment. I’ve booked accomidation now for Phuket in Thailand for 26 days in January. Has anybody been to Thailand, particularly Phucket and Bangkok ?

I may go visit Sri Lanka again in March 2023. I’m going to Turkey in June 2023 with my staff and I want to visit Morroco in October for 10 days. I’m cutting down on my spending. I have already cut the alcohol out and cut the takaways out too.

i found a chicken and leak pie in the reduced section for £1.29 (was £5.50) and cooked it with new potaotes and sweetcorn, plated two dinners up and ate one putting the other in the fridge for the next day. They both were rather nice, cost under a £1 per dinner.

My uncle and cousin have been to thailand. They told me if I go to beware of rat and monkey meat. Apparently they eat raw monkey brains.

My community nurse says I’m genuinely entitled to disability benefits and i’m not a malingerer. I shouldnt feel shame about travelling abroad 5 times a year.

I would think that would be more a problem in remote places then Tourist places.

Maybe ask or translate to know which type of meat they are serving. I would stay away from street food and trust more big restaurants.

Thats probably enough. I spent around that when it was a lot cheaper there. Prices are up a lot since then

My dad lives in Thailand. He’s become a big baby in his old age. A Thai woman made him one. She took control of the money and he’s senile.

Haha same for my uncle. He divorced his wife in his 50s and went to Thailand met and dated a women there but she refused to comeback to here Canada with him. I think they still talk together.

I would only go to thailand for sex tourism, a lot of trans ladies there, but i would be afraid to get a HIV. Like 80% who go there are interested in sex tourism i believe

I would say 80% go for the wonderful beaches and picturess beauty.
