Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam for 23 days in November

initially I was planning to visit Sri Lanka again for my 4th time this November but honestly I’m bored with Sri Lanka as I’ve visited most of the island. Sri Lanka is fantastic though. I’m going to do something really adventurous and visit Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam for 23 days backpacking around In November for my 40th birthday, I will be getting flights between the different countries to save time but mostly going backpacking and finding my way around when I get there. I haven’t backpacked properly in 18 years when I spent 8 months in India in 2006/7. So this holiday will be a bit anxiety inducing but fun.

Also going to Antalya, Turkey for 10 days in September with my personal assistant. I had to push this back because I had a MH health wobble some weeks ago. I hope going away in September and November isn’t too close together, but should be fun anyway. I love traveling and I’m blessed that I can be able to do it.

You could try going to the gym in preparation of the trip. Going backpacking for a first time in decades with overweight is risky. I don’t want you to feel unwell in the middle of the jungle.

I’m thinking my itinerary is a little too over adventurous for 23 days which isn’t a lot of time. I think I may change it to 10 days in Bangkok exploring the city and 12 days in Hanoi, Vietnam and experiencing both cities,. This way I can get the taste of both countries. certainly this isn’t going to be the first time I travel to these countries so this could be a little dip into both cultures. I wish I could travel for longer but have to have the depot every 4 weeks so can’t unfortunately.
