I may be broke most of the time, but I have love in my life so I consider myself a rich man…a lot of ppl have money but no love…I’d rather have love. There is a lot of things I would like to do if I had money, but it doesn’t bother me…are you happy with nothing?
I’m not happy at all.
I’m content and try to look after what little I’ve got.
I’m happy that I don’t have to beg for money.
Would really hate that.
All I need is a compiler.
Well, I don’t have love or money. I want the money.
Speak for yourself I need my video games and Mexican Food
Also wouldn’t turn down sweet $$$, @77nick77 has the right idea
I do think it’s commendable though to have a non-material view of the world
A perfect life for me would be a 100 acre or more waterfront home and my boats and my compound bow hell I would also like a recurve bow but truthfully I live a good life for someone with my illness and disability
I like the life that I live
I live in the united states which is a wealthy country so even though Im poor for American standards im richer than most the rest of the world
Yes, same here @jukebox
The more you have materially, the more you need.
Things or possesions etc are never enough. They’ll only wet our appetite, an entree. Some end up basically worshipping thier possesions or money or renown. There are greater things to focus on than those I believe!
@TheFountainPen ,that’s killing me,begging…
Comparing myself with others is hatred with me.
When I exist without comparison with others I reach a state of love I wish would last for eternity.
I have my home. I have had many homes before, even more expensive ones, but the one I have now I thrive in. That’s the most important. Most of my furniture is second hand, but I like it. I don’t really have any particular high value stuff. Even my records and dvds are mostly second hand.
Having nothing seems scary though when used to having things. It’s good to have a home with a few things I appreciate.
Financial Freedom is something I’ve achieved but I was happy before getting this money and was in debt…
Also was able to pull hot women with a zero net worth.
Money isn’t everything and the more you get the more you will want.
That said practicing gratitude daily is the key to happiness and more abundance.
Also learning to give a lot and you will receive a lot .
Money doesn’t solve all your problems but if you don’t like working a job that’s one area in life that it helps a lot in.
I’m officially retired at 32 and am pursuing my passions on the daily.
I have all my material wants / needs and I don’t feel any different from when I didn’t have them.
The honeymoon phase is real with money and material possessions. Look at millionaires they all seem pretty mellow even though they have it all.
Im content with what Ive got. I dont seek luxury or finer things. Though I acknowledge that what I do have, the few bits, can be regarded as luxury and/or finer things. A phone, books, a banjo… I consider myself poor and a servant to the poor, yet I possess such things.
How were you able to retire at 32?
By Saving my money and living like a poor person in my younger days.
Then investing it and the snowball effect.
For me the more money I have the more I make.
The rich get richer in this world.
If your smart you can use money to make money .
I’m happy with all my yarn. If they bury me I want my stuffed animal dog I had since a baby. Yeah. Happy for you. Hugs
