(Almost) Got a few hours left here. I’m not a father myself, but I know there are a few around here.
What gifts did you get for others, or if this thread stays alive long enough, what did you get for fathers day?
I got my dad a new pocket knife as the primary gift. Then I was at a loss for what else to get him. Since the knife was so low cost, I felt like I should get him more. So, I got him an electric fly swatter and a couple other small things. Doubt he will like anything but the knife, but i tried.
Im sorry that you have not had much luck with fathers, @Truemist8 . My dad is not a super affectionate kind of guy. But he consistently shows me through actions. For example, just today he mowed my lawn for me because the lawn mower my brother in law gave me was not functioning. So, I guess I lucked out.
Kind of a frustrating one. It’s the first one without my daughter around. She’s an adult now and is going her own way, but that one stung a bit. The one thing that I wanted to do today I couldn’t. Didn’t even manage to get a paddle board on the water this weekend at all, and that was the point of camping next to a goddamn lake.
