I’m calmer, my mind is sort of slowed down and doesn’t race as much. I went from 2 teaspoons to 1 teaspoon instant coffee and it’s helped for anxiety.
During the withdrawals the anxiety was worse for a couple of days though. I’m gonna taper off slowly from here on, maybe aiming to be caffeine free in 5-6 weeks.
I definitely recommend reducing or eliminating caffeine completely for anyone who struggle with anxiety / racing thoughts. It may help.
Today I’ve decided to quit caffeine at least temporarily and see if I notice any improvements. I think I get racing thoughts and I don’t know if it’s the caffeine or Bupropion or both. I also want to see if I sleep better. If those two things don’t improve then I’ll start drinking coffee and tea again.
