I was worried it was causing me anxiety. Instead of dealing with the situation rationally I just impulsively open every bag of coffee and poured the contents into the bin
I just want to cry

Dont worry about it @anon94176359. We all do things like that. Dont sweat it.
Thanks for the kind words man
No problem. Coffee tends to cause anxiety, even in small amounts. Do you like the taste? You can try decaf. In can provide short bursts of energy without the anxiety.
Thing is I have tea which I love and makes me feel calm. But is like I want to sabotage my brain with coffee buzz
I think you did the right thing. Coffee is addictive and may not be good for your anxiety.
I’ve done things like that…sorry you feel bad…
Dude i once smashed a coffin bookshelf my husband had made for me and burned all the books he h ad given me through the years. We all do crazy things. It’s done, don’t dwell. You’ll be ok.
I am prone to anxiety. Coffee makes little difference ie it doesn’t cause my anxiety levels to increase more if I have it . It could be because I’m a fast caffeine metaboliser.
For those who have done a DNA test check your raw data for rs762551 .AA/TT is the fast metaboliser version.
I reckon I’m a slow metabolizer. It has a profound effect on me.
I’ve thrown away coffee and tea before. Wish I hadn’t but at least it was cheap.
That’s actually maybe a good idea since caffiene might keep you up at night
Now in the morning time it’s alright but anything past noon you probably shouldn’t drink
I did that with packs of cigarettes routinely… I know the feeling.
