Hallucinations?

It seems every time I talk to somebody on my mental health team they make the assumption I hallucinate. I’ve never hallucinated in my life. I swear it’s a racket lol Do they know something I don’t?

Aren’t people who hallucinate aware at some level?

Maybe they’re the one who are hallucinating?

I know I’m not hallucinating.

What did they tell you exactly?

They just ask me how my hallucinations are every time. I don’t hallucinate.

Voices are auditory hallucinations. I’d have a hard time finding a schizophrenic who’s never heard voices.

I’ve never heard voices.

Maybe there’s some form of sz without voices.
So what are your symptoms then? Paranoia, strange obsessive thoughts?

I hallucinate and I am very aware of it.

I don’t have voices, never

You two are very lucky. Voices can bring down even the toughest minds.

According to Dr Cooper who retired not all schizophrenics hear voices. I did though. I just heard one in the hallway coming back from checking the mail. They are infrequent with the Abilify I’m taking.

I take abilify too. No voices anymore. But man, I’ve heard enough of them to know what they’re capable of.

I switched to Abilify last May. At first I was taking 5mg and started hallucinating pretty good. My pdoc upped it to 10mg, and I’m mostly not hallucinating. I was on 10mg Zyprexa. Back when I got out of the hospital in 2008, I was taking 20mg Zyprexa, so my dosage is down.

Is zyprexa olanzapine? I’ve read some bad reviews. Massive weight gain and possibly heart problems.

I don’t think i am lucky. I have visual hallucinations

I’ve had a few visuals too. There is an ocean of difference. Voices are very hurtful.

I had voices just once, but i think visual are worse

But everyone can think what they want to
