Had to break my diet today because

My daughter made me treats. I’m going to share with the whole family

Hopefully you all can eat all of them, so you can get back on your diet after Christmas.

I’m sure they will. Plus I’m really committed to my diet so the day after Christmas I’ll be back to 1200 calories a day

I haven’t really broken my diet, but I’m trying not to cause myself a flare-up of my diverticular disease this year. Don’t want to wind up in a hospital right now as they’re all so overwhelmed with COVID. I ate a reasonable amount of Indian takeaway this evening and had a bit of fruit for dessert. No baking or crisps for me today. Maybe a small amount tomorrow.

I pigged out last Christmas and made myself sick. Don’t want to repeat that mistake.

Oh man. Sorry about last year making you sick. I’m glad you’re taking care of yourself this year!

It’s so nice of your daughter to make you special food. What was it? I’m curious.

Cool, what were the treats?

Sugar cookies with frosting and chocolate chip cookies

I also broke my diet tonight, I was eating healthy low calories this week and lost 2lb :slightly_frowning_face:

I broke off from my diet also today.
Had two large bowls of whole wheat pasta in meat sauce.

Tomorrow I’ll start fresh.

My doctor (nutritionist) told me that it’s ok to cheat during holidays only.

As long as I continue with my diet starting the following day.

It’s ok. It’s a holiday. Just get back on track on the 26th. You can do it

My diet is kaput (although I won’t eat, or drink major amounts of regular sugar for life) and I’m no longer looking for excuses. That may change when I go back to the doctor though.
