My mother said i give schizophrenics a bad name. This is coming from the woman that said for years i was making it up - and it took one of my private clinic letters to prove otherwise that i had it.
Now just cos my sister printed off the wiki article on it - she thinks she knows all about the disease and how people cope with it. Her arrogance is bloody outstanding.
Shes a damn “ambulance chaser” anyway. Everytime you speak on the phone - shes giving you step by step details on “how ill she is” for half an hour before you get a word in.
Its like she wants to play medical Top Trumps - to prove shes more unwell than i am lol.
Well me and my partner were in the middle of trying for a baby. According to the fertility test I’m fertile at the moment. And she wouldn’t stop ringing my phone. Then she was parked outside the house. Yeah it really pissed me off.
My mom thought I was “being dramatic” for most of my life so I feel you. Luckily she has changed for the better and is more supportive now but it was really damaging to deal with when I was younger. Sorry that your mom is so unhelpful.
My Mom thought she knew all about why I got fired. It was the illness, nothing else. She thought I had quit taking my meds and that it was all my fault. She wouldn’t listen to me or give me a break.
