Yea I heard back in the day the number 1 tip for gut health (or maybe 2) is vegetables with perhaps fasting being number one.
Those are my tips… Fasting and vegetables. Fasting allows the good bacteria to grow because it gives them a rest and allows your gut to repair and not have to deal with constant baragement of food. Vegetables help because they provide the ideal environment for bacteria to grow.
Yogurt and stuff like that is good too but they just supplement the bacteria… The actual growth and natural propagation of them I think comes mainly from those two tips.
Based on personal experience, yogurt helps balance me out a lot. I like Greek yogurt a bunch, and kefir (a kind of yogurt smoothie drink) also works as well.
Also, coffee helps keep me regular AF .
I try my best to avoid gluten— I sometimes get skin reactions and I feel super sluggish after eating anything bread-like.
I started making my own fermented sauerkraut for cheap probiotics. It not only helped with my diverticular disease (practically no flare-ups when I take probiotics and walk daily), but with my SZ a bit as well.
Lol I was gonna comment about that but didn’t wanna be gross. It’s a legit thing yea… For anyone confuses about wth were talking about it’s when they take someones poo who has a healthy gutt and implant it in the bowels of someone whos gut is unhealthy. I think it like spreads the good bacteria or something lol
I read the ancient Romans instead of using toilet paper they used a sea sponge tied to a stick… Only thing is they shared them so… Maybe they were on to something lol
