Been 2 weeks since last lesson because of Labor day. Expecting move to include 4th string, the D string, and 3 more notes total. Also means 3 more notes to memorize on standard notation. I’m looking forward to it a bit but am also a bit nervous about the progressive difficulty.
Just posting for the heck of it cause I’m bored.

I mostly taught myself guitar but i only know how to read tabs and chord charts. I went to guitar lessons to learn chord names and thats about all i got out of it lol. Lessons are great though and i wanna pick my cello lessons back up
I did the same for a short while. But quickly decided it would be better if had some instruction.
The funny thing is, I originally was worried about my form and this was a main reason why I decided to take lessons. This is the one thing he has not corrected me on at all, and just said “whatever you are comfortable with”.

Well just make sure your fingers are solidly on the only strings youre intending to play and youre good lol. Guitar is a little more leniant about form
