Aa that sucks. I lactated once, I forgot which med I was on though? It was a long time ago.

No! I’m on olanzapine and vraylar now. The combo works fine. I’m also on paxil.
I have sexual side effects though. I don’t have any sexual desires and I’m kinda numb in my genital area.

Oh my gosh! Risperidone made me lactate too! It’s so embarrassing. I’m nonbinary so it was extra ■■■■■■■ weird and dysphoric. Hope pdoc can get your meds fixed quick.

Yes, I also lactated from Risperidone— I believe I was on 6mg at the time.
It was very awkward and honestly I was a little worried as well— it’s not a nice feeling when these meds cause such jarring side effects @Wave, so I feel for you.
I think it’s defos a good plan to check with your pdoc— hope you can get through to them and that it clears up soon for you.

If you can take any other more recent med than respiridone it would likely be an improvment.

You are doing ok now.
I think that you need something that you wouldn’t wanna change time after time.
Now that you are taking weight loss meds,I think last and major change would be better .
I know you tried every single med,and that nothing fit you.
Zyprexa is something you had success some years ago.
That’s why I suggested…

Risperidone gave me restless/ jumpy legs while trying to sleep…and a permanent hard-OFF!
I ditched that drug really fast…switched to Abilify…and I’ve never looked back.

Yes I did better on Seroquel than Zyprexa but both of these drugs increased my blood sugar levels too high and messed with my thyroid levels

im lucky i have never lactated before even tho my prolactin went very high. did u know u can take abilify with it to lower the prolactin and stop u lactating? i take abilify with invega for the prolactin.
