I ask this, because my neighbor is on it and her weight has increased quiet a lot + her sexuality has got a lot more down after it. Has any of you noticed the same? thanks!

I’m on it. 3 mgs a day. At first I gained 9 pounds, but as soon as I realized I was gaining I cut back on sweets and crap and I lost the weight and I’ve been fine ever since. I haven’t been sexual in a long time so I don’t know about that.

She has gained 30 kilos more weight and is kinda slowed down in the speed of her behavior too. + like I told, her sexual side has dropped. We in Finland don’t have lots of choice in the ap-med list. If a person who is already physically slow, in the body-language, then what would be a good medication for such a person?

I don’t know. Perhaps she could try Rexulti or Abilify. Really the best thing to do is talk to her pdoc and see what they say.

O was on it a while. I didn’t have bad sode effects aside from some weight gain.

i’m on risperdal consta 50mg every 2 weeks and on clozapine.

When I switched recently from Risperdal Consta depot to Risperdal oral, I gained seven lbs. immediately. I can’t seem to lose it either.
I’m on Perseris (Risperidone injection). My libido is low, but I don’t have full blown sexual dysfunction like on Invega Sustenna. I have less feeling though, don’t wanna go into detail.
I gained some weight at first ever since the medication before it, but I lost the weight since I’ve been exercising. I basically still look the same since starting meds, which made me gain. On some days, I eat lighter and healthier foods.
