do i get backpay for example if i dont get ssi approved for like a year or two do i get backpay for the amount since i first applied??
you will get back pay for the months you didn’t receive benefits since you first applied.

Are you waiting to be approved? How long does it take? I applied in a December but I haven’t heard anything yet.

i think it takes two months at least for me i live in california before knowing if they approved

im barely going to apply a second time just wondering if it were to take more than a year

Yeah they give you back pay depending on when you filed your claim up until it is awarded to you.
