Getting the right med’s can be hit or miss. Keep working with your med’s. Maybe you’ll find something that works for you.

I am currently not taking an antidepressant. They tend to make me manic, so the pdoc sticks with mood stabilizers for me. I was taking lamotrigine most recently and it is supposed to have antidepressant effects. It worked well for me but I ran out or something happened (I can’t remember now) and for some reason i went off of it. I will probably go back on it at some point. This works for me because I am schizoaffective.

. I’m schizoaffective and, besides my AP, Wellbutrin XL is my antidepressant and Lamictal is my mood stabilizer.
