My family doctor prescribed a non invasive colon cancer test kit for me to use called Cologuard.
I’m not about to have a colonoscopy so my doctor wanted me to use this test instead.
It checks for abnormal cancer cells and blood in your stool.
It’s not as accurate as getting a colonoscopy but it is still better than nothing.
Waiting for it to arrive soon.

Good luck. I don’t like the idea of a colonoscopy either. I’m not brave 
I actually had a dream about it either last night or the night before where I refused a colonoscopy. Bizarre I know.

Both of my dads parents died of colon cancer. Once I get into my 40’s, I will probably get tested.

I have my first colonoscopy on May 2…not looking forward to it at ALL!
