I got my first one at 51 and they found 3 out of 5 polyps to be precancerous. I almost didn’t do it and it would have cost me my life. I did one five years later and now next year I’m due for another even though my last one was clear. it’s a good idea if you are approaching 50 to get your colonoscopy.

I got one at 49. No polyps. They said good for five years.

I had a Dr once who wanted to finger my prostate, I refused lol But I think now that I am more mature its ok.
Do you have to prepare with magnesium drink before?
i d k what’s in it…it’s about two gallons of some drink they give you…you can have lime or lemon jello and no red or orange drinks…

My mom had one in CA in response to a false positive on a cologuard test. Thankfully she was completely negative. I was really worried.
Definitely best to keep an eye out for all kinds of cancer as we get into 40’s 50’s and beyond.
I am scared every visit they’ll find cancer in my lungs because of cigarettes, but they are so hard to quit.

I had four of them. One for colitis and the rest for IBS.
All before the age of 34.

im helping my mom prepare for one this week
it is urgent cause she is bleeding in her poop
so they need to try to find the bleed
she went threw this two years ago ended up in medical hospital for a week with no answers
hopefully they will find a reason this time
