For the most part I’ll be bouncing back and forth between the two main stages, though I’ll definitely check out Jinjer and a couple other bands on the smaller stages. Man, those are going to be short set times on those smaller stages. I had planned on checking out Sleep Token, but they’re playing at the same time as the headliner, System of a Down, which seems odd. Oh well, it should be fun.
Yeah I am a little nervous about the number of people, didn’t realize how big it is. I recently googled it, 85000 people. I’ll be allowed to leave and re-enter all I want, so if I need a breather I can leave and come back.
Worked out my ideal schedule, though I realize it probably won’t play out exactly like this. There are some little breaks in there.
I plan to see System of a Down, right after Slipknot, just got cut off in this screenshot. Though really if I end up so far back that I can’t even see the band I might at some point say ■■■■ it and go watch Sleep Token instead. Seems odd they have another band playing at the same time as System of a Down (headliner).
I’m not sure I’ll watch Baby Metal’s entire set, but I’ll watch and listen to at least a couple songs to see what they’re about. If I don’t like them I’ll go check out Combichrist or Helmet instead.
I’ve read that it was very hot at the festival last year, but here’s what they’re predicting for the day of the festival, which is Saturday, as well as the other days I’ll be out there. I sure hope this forecast is correct.
Yeah I’m a little worried about freaking out. I’ll have to stay at the fringe of the crowd, so I won’t get the best views of the stages, but that should make me a little more comfortable.
