I’ve mentioned before that I have a bad back, in fact I have degenerative arthritis of the lower lumbar spine which results in my back being stiff so I can barely bend and I often aggravate it by twisting or getting up the wrong way. I tried physical therapy for the second time last year, every Tuesday and Thursday I drove ten miles to the physical therapist for 4 months. It helped too, I had more flexibility and my back didn’t hurt for about three months afterwards. I’ve been promising everyone that I was going to start going to the gym to work out; I’ve been putting it off for a year but I figure physical therapy is a good alternative. So tomorrow morning I go in to a new place for an initial evaluation. I’m looking forward to it. My insurance will pay for ten sessions.
Good luck with physical therapy.
I had back issues for probably a month and a half but after enough time off and rest….they appear to have healed themselves.
My pain when gripping and/or lifting with right arm in elbow/funny bone area does not appear to be going away on its own, though.
I made a doc appt for oct 1st to have it looked at. May need an xray or something to see whats going on.
Thats good news that your insurance will pay for physical therapy, good luck!
I twisted my leg and heard a popping sound in my knee then instant pain. They did an MRI and the results said I have a torn meniscus in my knee and a medial ligament sprain along with arthritis. I’m going to wait until I get back to my hometown and see the orthopedist there, but I don’t know if there’s anything they can do for it. It just hurts to bend the leg but I can walk okay on it. They may need to trim the meniscus down thru surgery.
